Monkey Mug Performance now offers Texas required State Inspections!
All vehicles registered in the state of Texas are required to undergo a safety inspection annually. Monkey Mug Performance can help you fulfill this requirement and keep you safe and up to date on your vehicle registration. We can perform state-required safety and emissions inspections on all vehicle between 2 and 24 years of age, and complete safety inspections on older year model vehicles. Texas DPS requires inspections to assure that every vehicle operating on the road in Texas is safe. Safety tests include the state required list of items that are checked for proper operation. Monkey Mug Performance has trained and licensed state inspectors to conduct your vehicle state inspection. Tires and wheels, brakes, steering, exhaust system, suspension system, basic safety and signaling equipment, and seat belts are checked during the safety inspection. All lights, including headlights, taillights, signaling lamps and bright beams should be in working order and have no broken lenses. Tinted windows should be in compliance with state requirements according to tint depth and location of the windows.
Texas requires that all drivers have proof of financial responsibility to drive legally on the roadways.
